Jubilees retells much of Genesis and the opening of Exodus, arranging events around periods of seven and forty-nine years. It emphasises covenant, law, festivals, and the calendar; it is Scripture in Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo traditions, and the English text here does not represent their complete biblical canon.
